CROSSED TREBLE / DOUBLE CROCHET | Learn to crochet this beautiful stitch with this easy to follow tutorial.

The Crossed Treble Crochet stitch may also be known as the crossed Double Crochet Stitch due to the difference in UK and US terms. It’s important to know that they are the same stitch but just different terms. I know I can get a little confusing right? Either way it looks beautiful and would make a brilliant stitch for home decor projects, wearables and even afghans.

It’s a super simple pattern repeat and if you are familiar with Trebles Crochet (US Double Crochet) you should be absolutely fine to create this look. We are just going to add an extra layer of complexity by working backward on some of our stitches!

This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4×4 or 5×5.
