In this video I will share everything I know about CROCHET GRANNY SQUARE:

WRITTEN PATTERN:

– Slip-knot, chain 4, slip-st in first chain.

– Rnd 1: Chain 2, slip-st in 2nd chain, bind off (chain 1, cut n pull).

– Rnd 2: Chain 2, 2 Dc in same corner, * chain 1, 3 Dc + chain 2 + 3 Dc in next chain 2 space (corner), repeat from * for 2 more times, chain 1, 3 Dc in last/first corner, chain 2, slip-st in 2nd chain, bind off.

– Rnd 3: Chain 2, 2 Dc in same corner, * chain 1, 3 Dc in chain1-space, chain 1, 3 Dc + chain 2 + 3 Dc in chain2-space, repeat from * until end of round, chain 1, 3 Dc in last corner, chain 2, slip-st in 2nd chain, bind off.

– Rnd 4 & so on: Chain 2, 2 Dc in same corner, * chain 1, 3 Dc in chain1-space, chain 1, …, 3 Dc + chain 2 + 3 Dc in chain2-space, repeat from * until end of round, chain 1, 3 Dc in last corner, chain 2, slip-st in 2nd chain, bind off.

(Ideal) TOOLS & MATERIALS:

– Aran weight (No. 4) yarn with 4.0mm hook
OR Bulky weight (No. 5) yarn with 5.0mm hook
– 01 Bobby pin & Scissors
