This granny square bucket hat pattern is a quick and easy project that is made by using cotton yarn in multiple colours.

Overview

First we work six squares separately

Then we join all the squares on sides, stitch by stitch, such that it makes a ring.

Next we work the hat crown on top of the granny squares just joined.

And finally we work the hat brim on the bottom side of the squares.

Hat measurements

This is an adult size hat pattern. Single size fits most. The hat measures appx. 21cm/8″ in height and 64cm/25″ in circumference.
