The Crochet Peaches and Creme Popcorn Tote is a great little bag to make. Speaking bluntly, it didn’t take me long to make. A couple of movies of Harry Potter back to back and I had the 13 squares done, including weaving in the ends.

Be sure with this project to use 100% cotton, regardless of the brand.

I didn’t have Peaches and Creme yarn but I did have Lily Sugar’n Cream yarn, I used just 5 balls of the 70.9 g / 2.5 oz, 109 m / 120 yds. I was strategic in the colour play of making the 1 bottom square the same colour as the handles and the single crochet join. Here is the colour breakdown:

Overcast – 1 Bottom Square, 2 Handles and the Single Crochet Joining (gray)
Hot Blue – 3 Squares
Teal – 3 Squares
Lt Blue – 3 Squares
Beach Glass – 3 Squares

I could technically get 4 squares of each ball.
