Slip Stitch Crochet Join Tutorial (For Blankets, Granny Squares) by Crafting Happiness. Learn how to crochet the slip stitch crochet join with this easy step by step video tutorial.
Slip Stitch Crochet Join Tutorial (For Blankets, Granny Squares) is an easy crochet technique used to join any two pieces of crochet.
I use this technique to join the hood and mittens to the blanket on all my animal hooded blankets.
This is a quick tutorial for beginners. In this video, I am showing you how to join two pieces of crochet with the slip stitch join.
This is particularly helpful when joining granny squares for a blanket or a border to the blanket or any two pieces you might want to be joined (like the ends of a scarf to turn it into an infinity scarf).
There are two ways you can make the slip stitch join depending on how thick you want the join to be. I am demonstrating both of them in this short tutorial.
